The Final Boss Slug. Crown to represent their ranking and a cauldron on their back to show that they too can use potions against the player.

Character Walking Sprites


Spliced the spritesheets in Unity

Drew the new ingredients


Created the enemy (slug) sprites. From left to right, top to bottom, they are the fire, water, ghost, and mountain root slugs. The fire slug is weak to water potion, water slug weak to frost potion, ghost slug weak to exorcism potion, and mountain root slug weak to fire potion. They will fit into our environment: grassy area (fire slugs), river (water slugs), graveyard (ghost slugs), and mountain area (mountain root slugs).

Finished drawing the last two potions: exorcism and stoneskin potion. The stoneskin potion gives the player additional defense (take less damage from enemy slugs). Additionally, to separate potion types, the offensive potions used on enemies are round shaped, whereas potions used on the player themselves are thin bottles.

9/30/21 [Ingredient/Potion/Character Sprite Discussion]

  • Finalized potion ingredients (added new ones: ice cube, scute, ghost pepper, mint ; added new potion: frost potion)
  • Decided Character weapon (large ladle)
  • Decided enemy type (slugs of different elements)
  • Decided final boss (larger slug with cauldron for a shell)

Finished all the ingredients and potions sprites, and imported them into the Unity project.
